If you're reading this then that means that the InkSpill website has been officially launched!

By the time of writing this, InkSpill is about 3 weeks old and we want to do a little recap on what happened so far, which projects we are working on and where we want to go from here!

So what did happen so far?

Well first of all, obviously, we opened the studio in general!

We had a fairly slow start only having a person or two join per day and to be honest, we weren't sure if this project would go anywhere but here we are now. The Server has now over 150 members and the number is increasing by the day.

As a celebration of our first 100 members we hosted a contest to design a Studio mascot which will be featured in future projects and other InkSpill media!

We greenlit some comics as well as partnered with some shows and we even have an audio drama and a Game in the making!

As you might see by state of the website, it's far from done although we are definitely getting there.

Our socials are also getting somewhere with our first tiktok generating 100+ followers as well as 600+ likes as of writing this! At the moment we are still setting up a patreon however since we don't have any content to show so far we can and will take our time with that!

Sweet Delusion (Visual Novel)

Take on the role of Redacted as you try to charm your way through this visual novel and find just the right person to date! Bloody Mug (Comic)

Four young secret agents must dismantle a criminal organization while running a cafe to keep their identity hidden. Between the missions, the violence and the past they don't talk about, they also have to learn to understand each other and grow as adults.

The Harmonic Cosmos (Comic)

The Harmonic Cosmos follows the tale of 2 brothers conquering back their home that was once taken from them.

Their journey leads them to all kinds of different planets meeting many different people and their respective harmony! This Sci-fi adventure will be presented as a comic with expressive and changing artistic designs!

The Flotsam (Comic)

Learn all about the human mind, as you read the accounts and documents of an amnesiac woman known only as “M.I.A.,” who tries to figure out who she was. Let her see the after effects of an apocalyptic event, the variations of humanoids, the landscape, and the motives that let them have a purpose in this bleak world, in a world different from our own. See how she'll ventures forth into the land known only as “The Flotsam,” and let us be you guide into seeing how this woman can grow as a person and find out her “Ultimate End.” But will she stay the same person she once was…?

Doldrums (Audio drama)

In a small town with an aging population, fun is a luxury to a teenager. Naturally, then, they’re drawn to any whispers of excitement, real or not. So when Anna, Eli, and Frankie get grouped up for a Journalism project at school, they go hunting for the most compelling story possible. And when they discover an old string of disappearances that shook their town merely thirty years ago, they’re determined to play teen detective on these decades old cold cases. Little do they know, they’re about to plunge themselves into a rabbit hole of tightly kept secrets that they cannot forget; no matter how much they want to.

This classic combo of small town hijinks and incomprehensible horror begs the question: Would you put yourself in harm’s way to prevent calamity, even if it threatened your very soul?

Orange Adventure (Animated show)

Orange adventure follows the 15 year old Orange Fruitini on his misadventures through a not so normal highschool. During all this, he is accompanied by a colorful cast of friends, rivals and enemies. Though don't get fooled by the colorful and vibrant display since nothing is at it seems with a dark evil lurking in the shadows...

City of Luck (Animated show)

City of Luck is an indie animated series about broken people killing even worse people. The Mafia controls the City of Luck, and Cupid's Diner is no different. This group of 4 outcasts in particular are left to try and keep from killing one another as well as their own targets as more and more of the city falls to corruption. City of Luck is a 17+ show with mature themes, suggestive humor and dark topics that will be tackled.

Where does the studio want to go from here?

Our main goal with this studio is giving artists a chance at expressing themselves be it via their own project or contributing to someone elses.

We want to continue growing and giving everyone a platform. Eventually we would love to generate enough income to give everyone at least a little compensation back. As small and new as we are, every artist should get a compensation for their work if possible.

Ideally we can put out some projects in a month or two from now. We already have some really talented people scouted for active projects though keep in mind the casting calls for every project are still open (at least by the time of writing this).

This whole studio is a non-profit project as of right now. If we do get around to generating some money, we will re-invest right into the studio and it's workers!

With everything said and done I can only thank everyone so much for indulging in this studio with us. We will continue to pour our energy into it and support everyone that needs it as best as we can!
